1HVU's first Venturers...the investiture on Friday 2 April 2004..

William prepares the flag after the Scouts used their pioneering skills to construct a field flagpole.

1st Hurstville broke with tradition and allowed the parents of the new Venturers to present them with their Link badges.

William receives his Link badge from his Scout Leader father Ian.

James receives his Link badge from his Assistant Venturer Leader father John.

Eric receives his Link badge from his father Stephen.

Jarrod receives his Link badge from his Assistant Scout Leader mum Lyndall.

1HVU is born! The Unit stops to pose for a pic after each member had been invested. The Unit is AVL John, James, William, Jarrod, Johnathon, Eric and VL Christopher.
